Cap Screws
- General purpose threaded fasteners used in pre-tapped holes or with nuts
- Hex cap screws feature a thick, hexagonal head with a washer face under the head and a chamfered point
- A standard hex bolt does not have a washer face and a chamfered point
- Cap screws have tighter tolerances for head height and shank length than hex bolts
- Suitable for precise applications
- Stocked in Grade 2, 5, 8 and stainless steel
- Available in plain, zinc, zinc yellow, and hot-dip galvanized finishes
- Also supply socket cap screws and button socket cap screws in black oxide and zinc plating
