Flange Bolts
- Also known as flange screws, they have a built-in washer under the head
- Distributes clamping load over a greater area
- Designed to be used in conjunction with a nut
- Feature a hex head either with or without serrations under the head
- Non-serrated flange bolts are often referred to as frame bolts
- Common application is on vehicle frames
- Used as an alternative for any assembly utilizing both a hex cap screw and washer
- Stocked in Grade 5 and 8
- Available in zinc or black phosphate and oil plating
